Our driveway used to be completely dark when we got home late. I always needed my phone flashlight to reach the front door. We installed a solar light above the garage, and now the whole area is much easier to see. Best part? No electrical wiring needed!
See It in Action
Twilight Wings is a solar hanging light with translucent hummingbirds that glow in slowly changing colors after dark.
How it works
Press the ON button under the solar cap and hang it where it gets direct sun for most of the day. It turns on by itself at dusk. After a full sunny day it glows well into the evening; on cloudy days the glow is shorter.
Where to hang it
Porch, patio, tree branch, garden hook or a sunny window.
Good to know
• Before the first night, let it charge in full sun for a whole day.
• IP44 weather rating: it handles rain splashes. Bring it inside during heavy storms or freezing weather.
• It's silent: the figures sway in the breeze but don't chime.
• It runs on 1 × AAA 1.2V rechargeable Ni-MH battery. Replace it only with a rechargeable one, never alkaline.
